An opportunity to join multi-award-winning French skincare, body care and haircare brand, L’OCCITANE [LOX-EE-TAN]. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to assist the PR Team during the busy Christmas period. This person will play a key role in supporting the team with particular focus on the day-to-day press office duties; including mailings, reporting and writing development.

Major Responsibilities

• Supporting and responding to press requests (product call-ins) and with large scale send outs
• Press, online and social coverage tracking and saving
• Assisting with product orders for the press office
• Updating contact databases
• Supporting with post-campaign, event and partnership reports to evaluate the success of PR activities
• Supporting and assisting with events – support the PR team with events including booking cars, couriers, product deliveries
• Drafting press releases and PR materials

Required Skills

• A keen interest in the beauty industry, specifically, consumer press and social media
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to prioritise and manage time
• Attention to detail
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Strong desire to learn and develop PR & Communications skills  
• Passionate about commitments to people and planet
