Rebecca Gwyther (OG 2008-2015) is joining the West End production of Olivier and Grammy award-nominated Amélie the Musical as an Associate Producer. The production will open on 20 May 2021, being one of the first shows to re-open following the pandemic.
Since leaving Prior's Field, Rebecca has been working as a freelance theatre producer. At 21, Rebecca produced her first West End show at Trafalgar Studios, award-winning 'A Hundred Words for Snow' by Tatty Hennessy. Other recent productions include 'Anna X' by Joseph Charlton, which is seeing its West End transfer with Emma Corrin (Diana in The Crown) and Nabhaan Rizwan (HBO's Industry) under Sonia Friedman Productions in July 2021, 'Scum' as part of Park Theatre's Script Accelerator and 'What Goes on in Front of Closed Doors' on a UK Tour.
Rebecca is currently developing a number of productions including a new musical, a new farce, based on Fanny Mendelssohn, and a new horror play.
