Last week marked the beginning of Helena Traill Design Ltd! A business built from a home office in Surrey, with a global reach and now 100 design-led projects under its belt.
I have been a freelance designer for the past five years, throughout my studies in London, making websites and logos for local friends and family. When the pandemic hit, I decided to give it my all and try a freelance career. Luckily for me, the digital industry boomed. For the past year, I have been building more websites and designing brands for people across the globe and across different sectors.
My business (and busyness) are part and parcel of my digital work – I balance the hours spent at my desk with a love for art, dogs, and a fondness for cycling. I see my clients as having the same outlook – there's more to a professional relationship than a custom website.
Do follow along with what I do, by signing up to my monthly newsletter in which I share some of my own projects along with some design inspiration: helenatraill.co.uk/subscribe
Finally, if you are Alumnae or a current PF student looking for experience in the design sector, please do email me! I am always on the lookout for like-minded creatives and normally work with an intern or two!
